Their services are consistently recognised for high-quality, person-centred care, and they are now looking for a compassionate and motivated Deputy Home Manager to join their team in Bradford.

The Deputy Home Manager Job Role:

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
• Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated staff team
• Promoting a culture of person-centred care and positive outcomes
• Supporting quality assurance, compliance and CQC standards
• Helping to create a positive, stable and engaging environment for both residents and colleagues
• Acting as a role model and providing hands-on leadership across the service

The Deputy Home Manager Candidate:

• Experience as a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or experienced Team Leader within adult residential care
• A background supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential
• NVQ Level 4 or Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or currently working towards this)
• A positive, approachable leadership style with the ability to inspire and support others
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

• Experience as a Deputy Manager (or Team Leader) within residential care
• Has worked with adults with learning disabilities
• Holds (or is working towards) NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care
• Leads by example and communicates confidently

Team Leader - Children's Residential

Location: Leyland PR26

Salary: £29,600 plus additional £50 per sleep in (approx. 10 per month)

Shift pattern: Full-time 40 Hours per week average - Shift pattern to include days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, sleep-ins and lone working. 2 on 4 off shift pattern.

To work in a fantastic new home which has just been through registration.

Duties: Team Leader - Children's Residential

• To assist the Registered Manager and Assistant Manager in the day to day operation of the settled care home and provide regular cover if required at other homes. 
• To ensure the physical, emotional and other needs of children / young people are provided within a supportive, homely, professional and caring environment
• To work within Government Guidance; Ofsted regulations, Local Authority guidance and the Association’s policies and procedures in order to meet the Quality Standards, and meet the needs and achieve good outcomes for the young people in the homes.
• To achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding for the home.
• To support the development of an organisational culture that puts our core values at the centre of all we do.

Experience Required: Team Leader - Children's Residential

• Experience of working with young people aged 11 – 18 in a residential social care setting
• At least Level 3 children’s social care / youth related qualification and willingness to undertake further training and development
• Experience of dealing with stressful, difficult and challenging situations appropriately and supporting staff in such situations
• Knowledge of relevant Child Care Legislation, Government Guidance and Best Practice
• Experience of working effectively in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures
• Understanding of strategies for managing challenging behaviour (inc. de-escalation procedures)
• Ability to assist the Manager and/or Deputy Manager in the management of the home including allocation of duties and responsibilities, recruitment, staff deployment, day to day supervision and managing performance.
